Journals are the major means for collaborating research activities among the scientific community. To collaborate research in local science and take the knowledge to the stakeholders the publication of the Pakistan Journal of Weed Science Research was initiated in 1987. The journal was published regularly until 1993. Beyond 1993 and up to 2000 the publication of the journal stayed discontinued due to various constraints. The publication has been revised since 2002 and the Journal is published regularly as per schedule at quarterly intervals.
