The basic and most important responsibility of the Board is to hold timely and crystal clear exams and in time declaration of results. The board had been holding exams for Metric/Intermediate/Oriental languages. But since 1993, the Education Department of the Govt. of the Punjab(Controlling authority ) has laid down the responsibility on the Board for taking the exams of OT/CT/PTC and Art and Craft. The Board has been holding all the said exams satisfactorily and in a peaceful environment and their results are also declared well in time.
